I enjoyed this episode simply because of how it forced gamers to be creative with their tactics, and think outside of
their typical gameplay styles.
Besides the newly added story mode, the game also includes a Classic Mode which goes back to
the typical gameplay style of the series.

typical, «find the right path to complete the mission,»
gameplay that a lot of tactical shooters fall prey to into a more natural approach of letting you choose how and when to attempt a mission.

gameplay styles, but it doesn't quite manage it and ends up being just like any other 2D platform game.
They even got creative with the

style gameplay by adding living towers, and they've added faction war modes, which allows you to complete challenges to place points into your respective faction's bank, allowing for more unlocks and options in the future.
