The Peeple controversy, in essence, demonstrates everything that is wrong with the internet: Normal persons — who are
typically kind, polite, and relatively
good communicators — are moved to voice things online in a way they would never do face - to - face.
They respect other points of view, listen
well, and
typically have a high capacity for empathy, all of which are the earmarks of a solid
communicator.
