Conventional fish oil
supplements contain significantly more EPA than DHA (
typically a 3:2 EPA: DHA ratio), but mounting research
suggests that higher levels of DHA are optimal for recovery and anti-inflammatory, so you preferably need to look for a fish oil with something close to a 1:1 EPA: DHA ratio, and also ensure that it is in a natural trigylceride form and not the cheaper, less well - absorbed ethyl ester form.
