This tooth shows advanced periodontal disease as evidenced by
the ulcerated gums (blue arrow), pus along the gum line, and severe tartar.
If necessary, the laser is also used for this same purpose on inflamed and
ulcerated gums and gumlines.
Once under anesthesia, we found the abscessed tooth and
ulcerated gum tissue.
