the unblanched almond meal unfortunately doesn't work in my recipes.
After baking them, the texture was still heavy and a bit chalky (probably because it's
unblanched almond meal instead of a fine almond flour, I know).
These recipes will not work with
unblanched almond meal.

Technically
almond flour is finely ground blanched
almonds (* this differs from
almond meal which comes from
unblanched almonds and has a more coarse texture) so it contains all the nutrients and health benefits of whole
almonds.
