The continuous economic expansion we see today follows a course established at the dawn of our culture and may be about to reach a point in

unbridled production could overwhelm the Earth.
At its current scale and rate of growth, the continuous economic expansion we see today may be approaching a point in

production, unchecked per
human consumption and skyrocketing
human population numbers could overrun the limited natural resources and frangible ecosystem services upon which life as we know it utterly itself depends for its very existence.
Please forgive me for stating the obvious: there are mountains of scientific evidence, plenty of sound reasons and abundant common sense imploring the leaders of India, China, the US and the rest of the over-developed and under - developed world to consider that the seemingly endless, global expansion of large - scale industrialization and
production capabilities, now overspreading the surface of Earth, could be approaching a point in history when these
unbridled big - business activities could dangerously destablize frangible global ecosystems, irreversibly degrade the environment, recklessly dissipate Earth's natural resource base and, perhaps, destroy our planetary home as a fit place for
human habitation by our children.
Earth has restricted resources and, therefore, by its very nature can not be a foundation for the endless growth of
human activities, especially given the colossal scale and
unbridled growth of
production, propagation and per
human consumption.
Before we can find our way forward to a good enough future for our children in a sustainable world, I suppose we must find a way to organize and maintain SUSTAINABLE COMMUNICATION about the global challenges posed to humanity by the
unbridled, skyrocketing growth of the
human species and its soon to become patently unsustainable consumption /
production activities now overspreading the surface of Earth.
