The title kinda throws it all off, but you will
understand after seeing the movie.

After interviewing some former Irish terrorists and
seeing the carnage they wrought, Burleigh can not
understand why so many clergymen came to their aid, why so many Irish Americans toasted and financed their activities for years, and why
movie scriptwriters continue to mislead the public: «Hollywood contributes its quotient of surreal
movies about nobly moody Irish terrorists allegedly facing agonizing moral dilemmas, rather than the reality of intimidating drunks cutting people's throats....
It is simply a cool action
movie and while the
movie is not without its faults (I particularly missed the architectural fetishism of the Tim Burton
movies and some fight scenes are shot up real close so that you can't always
see just what the heck is happening) it is like
seeing your favourite comic book title being written and drawn by some guys with an
understanding of the character involved for a change
after seeing it being ruined by some talentless hacks.
Those who are curious about Silent Hill 3
after seeing the
movie can pick it up with a better
understanding of who Heather is, but without major spoilers.
Sean Durkin's directorial debut was a big hit at last year's Sundance Film Festival, and
after finally
seeing the
movie myself during its theatrical release, it's easy to
understand why.
