The tribunal found that the claimant suffered a detriment as a result of the requirement to
undertake civil partnership ceremonies, having particular regard to the fact that LB Islington could make alternative arrangements to accommodate staff who did not wish to undertake ceremonies on the grounds of their religion and still provide a «first class service».
