Instead of keeping the
unfair, inappropriate and discriminatory Common Core Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) as part of the state's flawed
teacher evaluation program, the proposed
law would have required Connecticut to adopt a system that is based on the real factors that determine whether a
teacher is successfully doing their job in the classroom.
