At the resumed trial of Dasuki on charges
of unlawful possession of firearms, the government witness, Mr. Samuel Ogbu who was under cross examination confirmed no incriminating items was found in the guest house.
The Director of the Public Prosecution of the Federation Mr. Mohammed Saidu Diri on Monday stormed the Federal High Court, Abuja with a fresh motion on notice requesting for revocation of the bail granted the ex NSA, Sambo Dasuki in
the unlawful possession of firearms and money laundering charges brought against him.

Recall that on September 1 this year, prosecution counsel, Mohammed Diri, had told the court that Dasuki was charged with
the unlawful possession of firearms without a licence which Dasuki pleaded not guilty.

the unlawful possession of firearms in certain circumstances has been recently declared to be unconstitutional, a person who is caught with a loaded, unregistered, and illegal handgun is very likely to receive a 3 - 4 year prison sentence for a first offence.
