As you progress you
unlock new locations and
extra Abilities that'll help you do even more Damage.
I'm in two minds about Flowmotion, and Reality Shift is a nice little
extra, while Spirits just provide a new style of party and slightly different style of
unlocking the usual
abilities and upgrades.
Each class has the option to
unlock four
extra weapons, and there's the option to upgrade their two
abilities.
Levels are relatively straightforward, but having certain powers or combinations of
abilities due to companions can sometimes
unlock additional paths that provide puzzle pieces, food to restore health,
extra lives, or switches to
unlock Dream Palaces or switches.
An arena
unlocked early on gets even more specific, often giving you preset parties and
abilities, but one of its primary rewards is a currency that can be used to upgrade your main hub both for continuous benefits to your fighters and for traditional

unlock secret characters for Kingdom Tour (like Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Toadette) and maybe a few decorations on the side.
You're given control over the build of your castle,

While progression through the game is fairly linear, the game world is actually fully open to exploration and you'll want to do that, because collectibles that help you

abilities as well as
extra modes, documents, costumes and videos are scattered all over the place.

abilities that differ from character to character, if you want to fight for those high letter grades and

Next Order also introduces a new

A genuine disappointment is the lack of competitive multiplayer, especially given that LEGO Marvel's Avengers had previously introduced an amazing feature in which players could

ability to target the second player and vice versa in split - screen multiplayer after purchasing the corresponding red brick
extra for 1,000,000 LEGO studs.

It's just been revealed that it will be coming to the Wii U, so that has an appeal, but I got the first one for the Xbox 360 thanks to the
extra characters of Banjo & Kazooie (no one else had any guests), the
ability to use your Avatar (or Mii on the Wii, and no
unlocking yourself here as in Mario Kart), downloadable content (Metal Sonic and a Death Egg track), plus Achievements.
The more you gain, the more
extra abilities and skills you can
unlock to help assist you in subsequent games you play.
Sometimes, choosing a specific character or combination of characters will make some matches flow a lot easier, especially if you have

Most impressive though was the
ability to
unlock every single Super Mario Kart track as a secret
extra, doubling the number of courses from 20 to 40.
The app is free but you can purchase the full version of it inside the app to
unlock some
extra features like the
ability to add a gradient to the battery bar, which basically blends the colors together in a seamless looking design.
