I once saw a story in the news that broke my heart and really showed me the problem with the way we treat stray and
unwanted dogs in this country.

Let's not overromanticize Norway either... there are tons and tons of

country, and no shortage of
dogs either.

in a landscape of fallendown buildings, burned - out houses, strip clubs and urban prairie with one of the highest crime rates

country and countless free - roaming pet

unwanted strays, nearly none of whom are spayed or neutered.»

in collies because they are too difficult
in kennels and come
in with innumerable behavioural problems.

unwanted dog it is no longer becoming so easy for people to quickly find a place for their problem — every one has a waiting list — its not just collies that need re-homing — all breeds have their problems.
