It seems
easier than cutting
up the raw meat, but your
soup looks so good I don't want to change it too much
I almost always overbuy on potatoes and celery and have found
soups and stews to be an
easy way to burn through those use - or - lose vegetables taking
up space in the fridge.
It wasn't until I left home and was vegetarian for around two years that I started cooking with fresh mushrooms regularly — they were an

It's too
easy to get carried away, spend hours chopping, and end
up with either 1) more of a stew than a
soup or 2) a huuuuge pot of

This day I woke
up to a big pot of leftover
soup which would be partly frozen for an
easy dinner, but the rest I'd have to eat myself.
Turning the smoky squash into a
soup with bacon was
easy; how can you mess
up anything that combines smoke with cured pork?
Cooking this lentil
soup is so quick and
easy that it has become one of my favourite evening meals, especially during the Autumn and Winter months when we really need something to warm us
up!
If you have an immersion blender (even a cheap one like I have is a great investment) the
