But he did express a desire

players chose to sit out their final college game instead.
Key
to the game's success is its relative ease
to pick
up and its open - ended gameplay style, meaning that with no specific «goals»,
players can simply build whatever they
choose.
we have been fortunate that Francis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin matured in
to great
players saving
up around 50 million if we was

chose and one or two others what with the cash in the bank we can buy anyone and make Sanchez dreams come true
There are two sorts of fans; those that prefer playing down the
players we never got, or were never in for, and bigging
up our own guys or, as you
choose, the exact opposite,
to big
up and hype the opposition and the
players that we don't get and ridicule or comically undersell our own.
For those of you who think Wilshere is good
player you better wake
up and face reality.Wilshere will never improve his game more than the level it is today so if you ask me
to choose between Milner and Wilshere I will pick Milner with no second thought.Milner is versatile and can play in CM.
Ramsey is a central midfield
player that rarely offers an above average performance and yet we
choose to play him out on the wing ahead of the in - form Ox or letting Sanchez slot back out wide
to let Giroud

Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** o

I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans
to relax and give this club time
to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed
to live
up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class
players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by
choosing our next coach the same way they
choose our
players, on the cheap... even so, we need
to see what mustache will do if left
to his own devices so he will have
to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
We should have won because if you were
to choose between the two squad and pick one team maybe the spuds get two
players with the rest made
up of Arsenal
players, our inability
to change in games is hurting us.
Only shame is how the media
chose to write about ozil being a poor
player, not living
up to the hype...
This is an incredibly difficult question
to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only
to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel
to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards
to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming
up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems
to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early
to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency
to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs
to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious
to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently
to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow
to ever boss the midfield and he tends
to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed
to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready
to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him
to use Francis and then he had the nerve
to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary
to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed
to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends
to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little
to no sense considering what he has
to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford
to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try
to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards
to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair
to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went
to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had
to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due
to his potential as a plausible alternative
to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue
to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball
up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due
to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem
to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold
to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction
to heroin without the benefits
All that being said it was probably still the best result as is shows how much work still needs
to be done, yes we need at least 2 more quality
players we all know this but the
players themselves have
to step it
up a gear, I just hope wenger doesn't take too much longer
to get the last couple ot
players in or we might not have much left
to choose from
In the meantime, I
choose to support the
players and the manager, even Sanchez, like him or not has actually succeeded in rocking the boat of complacency that has plagued us for years, but then he still celebrates when he scores, that's what winners do, they speak
up when they have
to and know when
to get with the program, doesn't necessarily mean they have
to drop their guard.
You only named mediocre
players, decent at best.Exactly «the Arsenal calibre»... sad days... we can only dream about the recent past when crowds of world class
players lined
up to play for us.Can you imagine
players of the stature of Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljundberg, Reyes, Vieira, Overmars, Kanu, Anelka, Gilberto, Petit... joining Arsenal in today days? The Europe and world's cream of the cream was playing for our beloved team.Half of the team was world champion, the other half was European champion... so many stars, it was hard
to chose a favorite player.Us... beating the mighty Real Madrid at Bernabeu with easy... try that today.Winning the title with a victory at Old Trafford - easy task... compare that with the 8 - 2 shame. So, when the recent memories bring an army of stars in front of your eyes... you are talking about... Willian, Sturridge and... Solanke? What a laughing stock we are, how embarrassing everything is!
Joining a club of arsenal s stature has its
ups and downs. There is a requirement of how our
players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list of
players who were wrong
to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured of all
players at the club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him if he decided
to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him
to get used
to the rythm of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented
player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good at first but wenger found a way
to reduce his level of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything
to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented
players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented
player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready
to become a world beater. But wenger decided
to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him
to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened
to him gad he decided
to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better
player than this.Theo walcott - Another
player who was tipped
to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming
to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another
player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary
players he was often compared
to during his time at real madrid. On coming
to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for
players. And when at arsenal you have
to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same
player for the next many years. That is why each and every
player are what they are because of their own efforts and wenger had nothing
to do with it.Van persie was the same
player for over 7 years untill he himself decided
to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out
to be.Thats why we need
to pressure wenger more than our own
players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs
to take that responsibility
PSG spent 400 million on 2
players last year and this is just the purchase price, while last time I read, Barca are in debt
up to their eyeballs, yet the powers that be
choose not
to do anything.
Great and beautiful win, kudos
to all d
players for their energy and passion and will
to win but don't forget d real issues............ Now mertesacker is a great defender even with is faint hearted block
to Costa's goal, even with the way ospina conceded d goal was enough reason why cech would av been better any day anytime and still wenger
chose ospina at the most important match, and because Ramsey equalised after we conceded under pressure when we were one man
up, look at d replays, only Ramsey was not a pussy, d rest were scared of not conceding more by staying close
to our goal, Ramsey ran forward and was d only
player apart from Sanchez and ground looking for d winner.
Yes we can blame the
players for not living
up to expectations, even when they know they should be playing with their body and soul while on the field of play, but if I may ask, did the
players choose themselves?
Why mention slow, every year Wenger adds something else
to the squad, which enhance the squad, money is not a issue no more like 3 - 4 years ago, why not in one go fix the squad, get the average 20 + goals striker (ok got laca), get the beast of DM or the strong defensive leader in CB, No, Wenger waits for the
players he has
chosen to develop slowly, which continue
to add
up in years without the title.
It's not often that Wenger has so many different (and excellent)
players to choose from, and it is only natural that he should be
choosing the line -
up to reflect the qualities of Aston Villa.
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a
player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed
to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the
player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough
to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately
to find a way
to get the best out of them visa vie
player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according
to planned the fans usually find a way
to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many
to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with
players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these
players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club
chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt
to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming,
to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes
to providing this prolific passer with the kind of
players necessary for him
to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema
up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom
to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember
to be considered a world - class set -
up man goals need
to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem
to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed
to make those moves that could have brought championship football back
to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled
player don't be so quick
to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled
player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly
to blame for our current woes
The Red Devils boss also
chose to leave Anthony Martial out of his starting line -
up in the opening leg of the Europa League on Thursday, which will mean he must have decided that this key
player could be used against Arsenal instead, which also tells me he is not wholly concentrating his team's efforts on the EL.
They should have told Gordon, «We want you here, but if you
choose to go
to Boston, remember that they were willing
to give
up picks and
players for both Paul George and Jimmy Butler so they could then sign them
to the incumbent team max contract.
If this was the first time we have had a poor start or had lots of injuries or failed
to sign
players we need I would agree give Wenger time and a chance
to correct but this is why so many of us are fed
up is this is the 9th year now.wenger has no excuses he
chose not
to buy a DM and CB in the summer when he had the cash
to do so, he fails
to work on the defensive side of the game and we lose games we should win, he plays top
players out of position arshsvin and now Ozil.
Most of the comments on here are opinions and I respect everyone's right
to express their opinion, but when someone says that the manager should not be held responsible for the mistakes of the
players and he changes the
players and they make the same mistakes, surely then we can all agree that the manager must be held responsible for the
players he not only
chose to buy but now has no choice but
to persist with and as for the few good performances, how long do we have
to wait before we get a full season of consistently good enough performances that would give the fans (not the deluded ones) any belief that this truly great club can rise
up from our sleep walk into further mediocrity.
Agreed he looked out of sorts and Insufficiently interested still has those world class touches and lay offs inc a perfect tee
up for Ramsey who like a donkey skied it over the bar... Wasn't helped by having wilshere playing a weird forward position and while wilshere played well it seemed
to destabilize ozil... Stupid
to play ozil miki wilshere and Ramsey... Latter is a bench
player but wenger's darling so he's willing
to disrupt team
to get him on the pitch... And it seems xhaka has entered the
chosen circle as it is clear that elneny right now is a better alternative
if a team doesn't want (or need) a
player and cuts that
player, why should they get
to choose where that
player ends
up?
If no more bad luck comes our way then Arsene Wenger will soon have a full squad of
players to choose from, excepting Santi Cazorla, and the confidence and form is growing and should continue
to do so with two very winnable games against Crystal Palace and Middlesborough coming
up.
Teams are unsure of just who is going where or what kind of

The NHL has had some really good luck with the

Dortmund want Big Bucks for all their
player's and from I heard Bayern Munich are prepared

to stump
up that kind of fee, we all know where this
player would
choose to go!
But, however you
choose come at it all, what those numbers add
up to seems increasingly clear: Mohamed Salah is having one of the all - time great goal - scoring seasons in the modern game and is putting
up the kind of numbers that set him out as a
player who is, right now, one of the game's top three attackers.
I preferred

When quizzed on Mbappe he admitted: «He's a

Well
chosen Andrew, I await the game with fear, but a tiny little bit of me believes that the boys can win, all I ask is that the
players fight
to the final whistle and give it their all, I can take the insults from all and sundry, but I need
to see some heart tomorrow, that goes for the fans too, I am sitting watching reruns of the chelsea win, and hanging on
