The Freestyle adorns Ford's latest grille design that is set to make its way to
the upcoming Figo and Aspire facelift as well.
However, there are some noticeable changes as the Freestyle previews the design of
upcoming Figo facelift.
The American automaker is also expected to launch the Freestyle, a cross-hatch version of
the upcoming Figo facelift, in April.
A jacked - up hatchback: The Freestyle is based on
the upcoming Figo facelift but gets added body cladding, roof rails and raised stance to make it appear as an adventure - friendly vehicle.
Not exact matches
With the likes of the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and the Ford
Figo Aspire already offering myriad options to the customer, the Ameo will also be wary of the
upcoming Tata Kite and Renault's imminent compact sedan debut offering in the near future.
The Chevrolet Essentia compact sedan will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford
Figo Aspire, Tata Motors Zest,
upcoming Tata Kite 5 compact sedan, Hyundai Xcent and recently unveiled Volkswagen Ameo.
From the side profile, the boot doesn't seem out of place but the front and rear of the car simply don't match and the Hyundai Xcent isn't the smoothest looking compact sedan in the market, the honours for the same go to the Honda Amaze and the
upcoming Ford
Figo Sedan.
Ford India on Monday launched a refreshed version of its compact car Ford
Figo priced up to Rs Rs 609,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) ahead of the
upcoming festival season.
Competition basket includes — Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Chevrolet Beat, Ford
Figo, Hyundai Grand i10 and the
upcoming Tata Motors Zica hatchback.
