obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away in and around the top of the box with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Futhermore, theo is different frm all our attackers, he gives us something diffrnt, he has rarely played this season yet he has scored as many as our «hardworking ox» has scored all season, he assists more than any other winger in epl, the keep talk shit abt theo tracking back, the fact is, theo doesn't need to track back, when he plays, opposing fullbacks rarely push up field becus they are scared of his pace, so that leaves our fullback one on one with their winger, now, does our fullback need help frm theo to mark his man??? Only if that winger is Messi, Ronaldo or Robben, if they not either of those three and our fullback can not handle them, then he is not good enough for arsenal!
I like both Welbeck and Lucas but don't really understand why we got them as Welbeck wasn't an improvement and Lucas was a gamble because he is 28 and only 1 good season (also he hardly starts even though he has performed well) we should have got a WC Forward in past few years Now we have: Alexis, Giroud, Welbeck, Lucas, Iwobi, Ox, Walcott, Akpom, Sanogo, Campbell We are collecting average to good players (except Alexis who is WC) In order to get another WC forward we need to get rid of a few of the above for funds and clear up wages.
Campbell rather than the Ox as Ox can be a super sub, Campbell is better defensivly and as such I would want that to help press higher up the pitch.
and thier injuries need to be manage better maybe less playing time for some than others, unfortunately wenger cant afford to give them the proper time of his coaching, as he is under massive pressure to succeed these days and hasn't got time to train them up properly, also he isn't tactically flexible enough to accommodate them into different attacking systems, to test what they can do like having the ox in a 3 man midfield could work wonders.

plus it would free up walcott to be the c / f he always wanted to be, also the ox's fitness can be a concern not as bad if he doesn't play all the games next season, and gnabry will need to be bedded in slowly next season too.

1) GK — better 2) LB — same, possibly better if Gibbs improves, Monreal has plateaued 3) RB — better as Bellerin will only improve 4) CB first pairing — same, as the BFG is getting older but he can't get shorter or slower, 5) CB second pairing — better since we didn't have a pair last year 6) DM — better as Arteta is now back up and Coquelin should get even better 7) Box to box — better if you think Ramsey and Wilshire still have room to improve and are still being kept out by Carloza 8) LW — better, Sanchez might not get too much better but Welbeck is an improvement on Podolski 9) RW — same if Theo moves up front but Ox and Gnabry have lots of room to improve 10) CAM — same 11) Striker — better as Giroud / Theo is stronger than Giroud / Sanogo
