So, Brawl on Wii U, you can only
use the Wiimotes, so those or the classic controllers, but there's adaptors out that lets you use GameCube controllers as classic controllers, I'd imagine that it would be best for Brawl.
The 12 minigames are split into 3 different types; single - player games designed just for the WiiU controller, competitive multiplayer games where up to 5 players compete against each other (up to 4 players
use Wiimotes with Wii Motion Plus), or co-operative multiplayer games where players work together towards a common goal.
Using Wiimote for accelarating will not be fun, the car will skid all the time (so you will have to tap the «2» buttom which is aweful).
I'm looking forward to this game and hope that they have a sequel too, but would love to see a Red Steel 3,
using the Wiimote and nunchuck.
Or as a secondary screen (even when
using wiimotes).

We're glad to see more gameplay examples of how the motion controls are going to work considering the fact that this game is the result of the good folks at Rainbow Studios asking how cool would it be to

using the Wiimote).
The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest is a mini-game based on the Legend of Zelda series in which one player is the archer (using the GamePad) and all other players are swordsmen (
using Wiimotes).
Luigi's Ghost Mansion is a mini-game based on Luigi's Mansion, in which one player is the ghost (using the GamePad) and all other players are Luigis (
using the Wiimote) and players hunt each other.
They revealed that the main character is actually Bowser, who the player with the GamePad controls and he's able to bully the other players (presumably
using Wiimotes) into doing tasks.
I was hoping it was be pretty fun on the Wii
using the Wiimote and Nunchuk, but really it had pretty much the same feel as the Arcade versions.
You still move Mario around with the control stick and jump with the A button, but you can
use the Wiimote's cursor to point at Starbits to suck them up or flick the Wiimote to perform an extra spin jump.

Not long after Twilight Princess, I bought Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, a game that, ironically, didn't even
use Wiimote controls.
I noticed this when first person shooters that
used the wiimote were considered inferior to dual analog controls.
The premise is that one person on the gamepad is running from the other players (who are
using wiimotes) through a maze who are trying to capture him.
It echoes comments made by Shigeru Miyamoto last year, when he said the title would
use the Wiimote add - on, although he didn't state at the time if it was to be exclusively used.
This doesn't seem too useful now unless Nintendo really
uses the Wiimotes a lot with the Wii U.
The reasoning behind this decision to break with tradition came as a result of
using the Wiimote to swing Link's sword.
Knowing what to do is simple, their insitance at
using the Wiimote for precise movements make continuation impossible.
You can
use the Wiimote, Wiimote + Nunchuck, Gamecube controller or Wii Classic remote.
However, it's notable that those games barely
used the Wiimote (though the «little brother mode» was a pretty ingenious 2 - player innovation).
Certain games utilize the GamePad's touch controls and others
use the Wiimote.
One of the problems with
using the Wiimote is that it always looked dumb when Nintendo used them during their presentations, such as in Nintendo Directs or at E3.
Players can also
use the Wiimote to perform cat - like saves, defending their goal from Megastrikes by grabbing the balls out of the air.
Featuring five party - style mini games, the title was boasted as being a game that «anyone can play», as it literally
used the Wiimote's sensor to detect the vibrations from taps made near the controller (no button presses or use of the analogue stick).
«Calling» takes advantage of the Wii controls by
using the Wiimote as a cell phone through which spirits talk to the player.
My olde guildemate Kaizer has made a sex game
using the Wiimote, and it looks kinda hilarious: clearly the safest sex two people can have, judging by this video!
Like the NES Classic, they connect
using the Wiimote controller port, which means you can (in theory) use them with SNES games on the Wii and Wii U.

We've reverted back to
using Wiimotes - remember those, from the original Wii - to play through the likes of Super Mario 3D World with ease, or there's a Pro controller which is, well, a lot more like an Xbox controller.
