Just to le you know, I did not make the cake but
used your peanut butter frosting to «compete» with 2 other recipes on my peanut butter cake.
At one point I tried to
use a peanut butter frosting with the peanut butter cupcakes.

frost the cake with the

I container of white
frosting (do not
use whipped) and one jar of

used the Hershey Perfectly Chocolate recipe for the cake, a simple ganache for the
frosting, and a
peanut butter frosting for the middle.
Spread a thin layer of
frosting on top of the cake, then pipe a dam of
peanut butter frosting around the edge of the cake layer
using a pastry bag fitted with a large round piping tip.
I
used a large open star tip to pipe large swirls of
peanut butter frosting around the edge of the cake, then topped each swirl with a mini
peanut butter cup.

using natural
peanut butter here, as it might make your
frosting a bit oily.
I made the
frosting using a basic buttercream recipe, and added two tablespoons creamy
peanut butter.
I didn't have three eggs so I substituted 1/4 cup applesauce for one egg,
used vegetable oil instead of canola and added
peanut butter to the
frosting.

For the topping, I decided to
use a blend of
peanut butter into my buttercream
