as I
used the same blender, added a couple of drops of the almond milk I'd just made, a chopped frozen
banana & some cinammon too!
As we freeze very ripe

used coconut milk and blackberries instead.

banana as I didn't have any dates — oh, my, that was a mistake.

bananas, you need something that gives the same sweetness and creaminess
as a
banana.
I only
used 1/3 of the ingredients listed
as I wanted to see how it went (and didn't have that many
bananas...) but I calculated it all down to a 1/3.

used a mashed

as I had run out of apple puree.

as I couldn't find my date syrup, but it didn't need much (3 tbsp)
as the
bananas are so sweet.

Also, I barely
used any honey and just put 2 large
bananas instead, so that deducted lots of the negativities of honey

use the
banana peel
as you stated.
I only had two
bananas so I
used fresh pineapple to make up for the third, quinoa in place of millet (
as someone else here suggested) and for the flour I
used white flour and oat bran.
I just tried to make it by
using the separated egg i.e. whipping the white first then adding
banana + yolk and while the batter looked beautiful when I was frying the pancake it wasn't strong enough to stay together and couldn't flip
as one whole piece Mine turned out like a mush.

bananas, but I made up for it with double... ok triple the bourbon) and I whipped these up into some mighty tasty muffins.
I was all ready to make this exactly
as laid out in the recipe, when I discovered that 2 of the 4
bananas I had were just too far gone to be
used.
I will
use also rum instead of bourbon (a) because I have it on hand and (b) because that's what we
use to «burn
bananas»,
as my kids say when they're asking for
bananas foster.
I only had one ripe
banana so I
used a little apple sauce
as well.
I actually found I preferred
using ripe
bananas (rather than brown overripe ones) for this smoothie, though, because the
banana flavor wasn't
as strong.

used w [filtered] wheat pastry flour instead of all purpose flour - I
used demerara sugar (3/4 cup inside the recipe
as with a w [filtered] cup it's too sweet) and sprinkled extra on the top towards the end of baking to add a little crunch - I added 1 cup chopped pecans - If you want to decorate the tops, before baking place 3 small slivers of
banana... enjoy!
Made these cookies again
using less ripe
bananas — the taste was much better
as you thought!
You can
use applesauce, baby food fruit, or even some jams work
as a substitute for the
bananas.

banana baked oatmeal, except that I'm
using sliced apples and cinnamon instead of sliced strawberries and vanilla.
It does
use banana as the sweetener, so you can taste that, and it also
uses oats and cinnamon and raisins in it.
I
use almond milk
as the liquid and I blend with a drizzle of raw honey until I have
banana chocolate ice cream.

Delicious, but i would recommend
using less
banana as the middle was a little too soft.
