I know it sounds very strange to put
avocado in something sweet and it's been a bit of a trend in healthy eating, I'm sure lots of you are skeptical of it, but we think it's definitely worth trying as
using this is very creamy and we don't think you can taste the veg — instead you taste deliciously chocolaty tones
with sweet hints of dates and a little banana, then you get the crunchy almonds and the yoghurt and chocolate sauce...
I served mine
with your
avocado, mango and pomegranate salad (slightly modified as I
used pumpkin seeds instead of sunflower seeds) but I have to say the mango chilli dressing is by far the BEST salad dressing I have EVER tasted!

Avocado with Strawberry - Mango Salsa Now let's go wild and whip up a fancy - dancy dessert from something no one else
uses for that purpose.
I love that you
use avocados here, they seem like they would go perfectly
with the potatoes.
Serve in bowls
with a spoonful of cooked rice, some mushroom slices, fresh parsley, olive oil, a dollop of yogurt if
using, and an
avocado toast.
LOVE the porridge and squash and
avocado salad!!!! My TOP TIP is when
using butternut squash or sweet potato don't borher
with peeling and chopping just put in a hot oven WHOLE for 30 - 40 and voila!!!! All soft and easy to chop!!!
I
use a blender to make most of my smoothies but for this one I put the apples and pears through a juicer and then the juice into the blender
with the spinach and
avocado.
I love topping them
with yoghurt (I
use a plain coconut yoghurt), sun - dried tomato pesto, chopped tomatoes, slices of creamy
avocado and a sprinkling of chives, but they work
with so many things.
To assemble, arrange the portobellos caps on a tray or a platter, top
with the corn and bean sauté, sweet potato cubes, the remaining
avocado (sliced), olives, if
using, and red onion.

avocados with lemon juice
using a firm whisk, potato masher or similar tool.
1) Peel and cut mango,
avocados, onion and tomatoes into cubes / dices accordingly 2) Place cubed / diced ingredients in a large bowl 3) Squeeze lime juice over ingredients, add salt & pepper to taste and mix well 4) Pre-heat oven to 180 deg cel 5) Pile all the tortilla sheets in one stack, and cut them into 10 - 12 slices (as if you were cutting a pizza) 6)
Use a brush to spread a little bit of oil on both sides of the cut tortilla sheets 7) Place greased cut tortilla sheets onto a baking tin / tray, making sure not to overlap them (if there is not enough space, toast them in various batches) 8) Toast tortilla chips until crispy and slightly golden brown 9) Serve dip

I would love to see more savoury recipes
with avocados, only because I know how well they can be
used as substitutes in desserts, but the only savoury recipe I know is guacamole and when
avocados are cut into slices or bits and put as toppings on soup or sandwiches, but I'd love to get to know more savoury meals where
avocados play the main role.
Now it's not something you can
use with every recipe, but
avocado and chocolate pair perfectly together.
I discovered
using mashed
avocado in my Fudgy Salted Quinoa Brownies, and I've since absolutely fallen in love
with it.
I've
used avocado to make chocolate pudding and lime pudding, but would never have thought to make Popsicles
with it!
We
use it in a burrito bowl
with an
avocado cream sauce, mexican seasoned black beans and corn, lettuce, tomato, cotija cheese, and tortilla chips.
I had some
avocado in my salad last night and I think I'll
use up the rest of it by toasting old pita breads
with olive oil and salt, into crispy - type chips.
I will try it next time
with the
avocado, this would have been my first attempt at
using it.
My favorite
uses for these include biscuits
with butter and jam or honey, and definitely bacon, egg, and mushed
avocado sandwiches.
You'll want to
use Hass
avocados, the dark greenish brown kind
with the rough, bumpy skin to make your guacamole.

As for the hight issue, I would guess it just has to do
with the difference in the size of
avocados we
used.
Once fries are cooked and have cooled for 1 - 2 minutes, layer them on large platter or two separate plates, top
with black bean vegetarian chili mixture, then sprinkle
with shredded cheese -LCB- I
used aged cheddar -RCB-, drizzle
with sour cream, and garnish
with sliced
avocado.
I
used a little non fat greek yogurt
with lime juice instead of the cream fraiche, and added a little cubed
avocado for healthy fats.
Rather than
using egg yolks and mayonnaise, I have replaced the original ingredients
with a healthier fat (unsaturated fats),
avocado!
I topped mine
with a little diced
avocado; feel free to
use any other suitable garnish that you like!
Caesar Salad
with Spicy
Avocado Dill Dressing —
Use a bed of romaine lettuce, lose the croutons, and top things off
with this dressing for a spicy kick.
Here I
used avocado brightened up by fresh lemon juice, and ricotta topped
with seasonal fruit.
Ok, just looked it up
with you (
using myfitnesspal.com) if I enter each of the ingredients in it looks like the total carb is 44, and 12 of that is just the
avocado so if you cut the
avocado out it will only be 32.
I had planned on serving
with lime slices and
avocado but decided to
use my extra ones to make more guac!
I now
use almond oil or
avocado oil to cleanse my face and wipe off
with a hot rag.
I
used the same easy pan fry method, but this time combined the crispy tofu cubes
with tangy sweet chili sauce, sweet bell peppers, creamy
avocado, green onion, and cilantro, and the result was amazing.

It's not that the muffins weren't good
with avocado, they just weren't fluffy; I opted to
use a bit of coconut oil instead.

I've personally
used it in tons of salads, on a pizza,
with avocado toast, and even that is enough to keep my tastebuds entertained for years to come!
I did change it a little: I
used much more chilli powder and fried a bit of onion
with the chicken, salted the
avocado, made my own roasted pepper (just put a whole red bell pepper on an oiled baking tray at 200C for 30 min) and added some creme fraiche on top!
Serve potatoes split and topped
with a mountain of greens and sliced
avocado, if
using.
Enjoy it just like that,

used avocados in this roti (Indian flat bread) I have been enamored
with the the fantastic texture and softness that
avocados impart to bread and it's always been at the back of my mind that I need to try
