I use black sesame seeds over mine, but if you don't have them you can use regular sesame seeds.
You can
use black sesame seeds in various dishes such as adding them to your salad or eating black sesame cake.

I like to
use a combination of white and

These were beautiful when baked — I
used a mixture of
black and white
sesame seeds, but I thought mine were a little blah tasting.
What a great
use for the jar full of
black sesame seeds I have lying around.

Seed Cocoa Bars Note: Sometimes make these bars
using sunflower
seeds only (no buckwheat), or
use a mixture of different
seeds — sunflower, pumpkin,
black and tan
sesame, chia, flax and poppy
seeds.
For the coat, I
used dried mango,
black sesame seeds, pistachio, and freeze dried corn, peas, and red bell pepper.
You can
use just white
sesame seeds or mix white with
black.
I
used regular
sesame seeds because I didn't have
black sesame.
For the mix - ins I chose a variety of things in my cupboard that needed
using:
black sesame seeds, cocoa nibs, dried cranberries, and chopped almonds, but of course, you can toss in anything you want or choose to be starkly minimalist as well.
I do this nightly in the shower (love that warm water, plus I can't be bothered to
use additional cream, or (the best is) cold - pressed,
black sesame seed oil — pre-warmed in your palms), and it's also considerably reduced queasiness.
Another traditional dessert from the colonial era is Frejol Colado, which is made
using black or red beans, honey molasses, clove and toasted
sesame seeds.
