Hey Ella, I too
use coconut oil as body moisturiser throughout summer
and autumn, however I find it's not moisturising enough year round.
All you need to do is mix porridge oats with some milk
and yoghurt (I
use coconut milk
and coconut yoghurt normally), some dried apple pieces, a sprinkling of chia seeds, a handful of sunflower seeds
and some juicy raisins, then just stir it all together
and leave it sit for about a minute.
Things like chickpea flour,
coconut flour, buckwheat, brown rice flour, quinoa
and oats are all amazing ingredients to
use.

First reason could be if you only
used spelt flour (instead of buckwheat)
and left out
coconut and almond flour.
I didn't have
coconut yoghurt so I
used natural yoghurt sprinkled with desiccated
coconut and opened up a cardamom pod instead of
using ground.
I
use the
coconut oil both as a make - up remover
and as a face & skin moisturizer.
I made this with carrots instead of squash
and instead of
coconut milk
used a bit of stock
and half a block of creamed
coconut so it was more of a spicy carrot puree on the sweet potato (
and substituted the chick peas for green peas plus added some spinach)

Though, came out a bit dry
and I had to add more liquids so lentils can fully cooked (I
used almond milk as I had no more
coconut milk).
Forgot to say, I

and next time I'll leave out the maple syrup because they were too sweet for me, I only
used 1 1/2 tbs... amaze balls!!
Also made a curry with
coconut milk,
and that was also delicious, I'm going to
use it in everything now!
I recommend throwing a chunk of these brownies to your smoothie or layer in a parfait glass with ice cream made from Ella's recipe or as I do — I make mine in the ice cream machine
using full fat
coconut milk instead of cream
and traditional milk..
