One of the most economical and compliant options for cloth diapering is to
use Flat Diapers and Covers.
If you've ever had stink issues with microfiber, have hard water, want to go with a more natural fiber, want to save money, want to save water, these are all good reasons to
use flat diapers, even inside a standard «fancy» pocket diaper.

use a flat diaper or a prefold diaper).
To
use a flat diaper, you fold it so that it takes on a shape to fit around your baby, making an absorbent layer where it's needed.
If you are

flat into 4 pieces and then
use them as hemp boosters in my little girls cloth pocket
diapers, works great and they are cheaper than the hemp inserts and much more trim!!
Remember, you will only need Snappi fasteners if you are
using prefolds or
flats and you will only need
diaper covers if you are
using diapers that are not water proof (i.e. fitteds, prefolds,
flats).
As a young girl I saw my aunt
using cloth
diapers, long enough ago I don't even remember what style she
used but I can only assume that she
used flats and plastic pants.
It is cost - saving over all - in - one
diapers because I can
use anything as the absorbent part (prefold,
flat, t - shirt, receiving blanket...) and you don't need as many covers as you would all - in - one
diapers.

diapers can prematurely wear out elastics and polyurethane laminate coatings.
There is no waterproof layer so a
diaper cover is
used over a

I've only
used this as a cover with prefolds and
flats, not with the flip
diapering system, but I found it to be a nice and trim option.

diapers easier, since poop sprays off of suedecloth more easily than it does off of natural fibers) If you plan to

flats or prefolds, you'll be glad to hear that you can buy these liners separately too!
Because I'm taking a hiatus from all - in - one (AIO) cloth
diapers, I've opted to
use my stash of
flat diapers and smart bottoms prefold
diapers with my Best Bottom covers.
The trimness of this
diaper will depend on whether you
use the Tushmate inserts (least bulky),
flats (relatively trim), or prefolds (bulkiest).

My Grandmother on the other hand thinks modern cloth
diapers are the bees knees (she

These are not as big a a regular Birdseye
flat diaper, but for the first few months especially, these are the most adorable
diaper, for when I
use something other than the disana tie nappy.
