you use microfiber inserts and struggle with stink, washing your inserts on hot with detergent and 1/2 cup of bleach can really revive them.
Most moms

used in the stay - dry layer and in the
microfiber inserts.
So I recommend pairing these with the diaper Junction stay dry doublers for
use inside of covers or pairing them with the diaper junction
microfiber inserts and putting them inside of pockets.
[For nighttimes with our three - year - old] We currently
use a stay - dry Flip
insert on top of a
microfiber insert inside a Flip cover.
This diaper is more absorbent if it is either double - stuffed (
using 2
microfiber inserts), or paired with another more absorbent
insert.

used only pocket diapers with
microfiber inserts with my 1st.
While a
microfiber insert will work during the day, if you plan to
use this diaper for naps or overnight, I would definitely want to at least double up the
microfiber inserts... but I would definitely consider investing in more absorbent

So far it seems to be wearing better than a
microfiber insert, but that may be just because I don't
use it very often.
From 1 - 2.5 months we
used a pocket stuffed with a
microfiber insert and a hemp
insert.
When
using both
inserts with a newborn simply fold down the hemp
insert and snap together with the
microfiber insert.
I do not and will not
use microfiber so I have
used it with only the hemp
insert and am impressed by how absorbant it is.
But when my
microfiber inserts are all
used up, I plan on
using flour sack towels and prefolds in my pockets.
I primarily
use Charlie banana's and bumgenius and would love to give prefods and flats a go in place of the
microfiber inserts!
Use them in place of your regular
microfiber diaper
insert.
If you have hard water and / or
microfiber holds «the stinkies» for you, you can always
use a different
insert such as a prefold, flat, or hemp or bamboo combination inside the pocket — whatever works for you!
Use these with
microfiber and then bamboo
inserts at night and have had no leaks (with multiple feedings throughout the night).
If you're
using a
microfiber cloth or
insert to boost the absorbency, it should always be topped with another layer.
For the most absorbency and the trimmest fit,
use hemp,
microfiber, bamboo, or zorb
inserts.
I also pulled out and bleached all the
microfiber inserts to
use again so I wouldn't have to spend so much time pad folding flat diapers.
I
use these to replace the
microfiber insert.
At this point, absorbency needs are creeping up, if you are
using pockets, consider switching out your
microfiber inserts for a tri-folded prefold at this point, either the infant or regular size, depending on the size of your diaper.

used these successfully as an overnight diaper by stuffing the pocket with an extra
microfiber insert.
Hemp Isn't My Thing I have found that the hemp
inserts tend to hold onto stink so I prefer
using the Buttons
microfiber inserts instead.
In this case,
use a hemp
insert with a
microfiber towel wrapped around it.
I
use mostly
microfiber but have actually just gotten a few diapers with bamboo
inserts.
We still recommend
using a 3 - layer hemp
insert for night - time, even if you
use microfiber during the daytime.
I do not have the stink issues with
microfiber towels that are tri folded and
used as an
insert.

You should
use a barrier, such as fleece liners, between a
microfiber insert and your baby's skin, because
