You can never, ever go wrong with cookies I'm not huge on
using protein powders either, but they definitely add a nice touch to certain recipes, and it helps when they're made with
natural ingredients and no pesky chemical additives.

natural sweetener of choice) Stevia drops to taste or your sweetener of choice (I
used these ones, they's the best in my opinion)
I also
used a
natural, unflavored vegan
protein powder so I
used closer to a half cup of milk.

I'm glad you liked the brownies I personally don't think you should be afraid of giving your kids
protein powders (as long as they're 100 %
natural, organic and non-GMO, like the brown rice
protein powder used in this recipe), but I totally understand your hesitation.
Beside wonderful chia seeds — rich in fibers,
proteins and omega - 3 fatty acids (aka HEALTHY fats)-- I
used natural creamy peanut butter (the one without added sugars and oils) bursting with fatty energy, and antioxidant - rich raw cacao
powder.

On top of that, these pancakes are 100 % healthy as they're free from refined sugar, as I've only sweetened the recipe by
using the
natural sweetness from the banana, vanilla drops and creamy
protein powder.
If you decide a plant
protein powder is a better option for you, look for plant - based
protein powders that are cold processed and «enzymatically sprouted,» which means all -
natural enzymes are
used rather than chemicals to separate the
protein from the plant.
That's why it's the absolute best
protein powder to
use with those green smoothie recipes... because you're adding real food ingredients instead of a bunch of fillers, gums, and

For the record, I don't ever
use artificial sweeteners, save for stevia in
protein powder (and stevia would be
natural anyway... only still a tad too processed for my liking).
It's true you can make a smoothie without
using protein powder at all, but I find my blood sugar is much better and my energy is more stable throughout the day when I
use a
protein powder or form of
natural protein (such as yogurt) in a smoothie.
