If you want the biggest screen possible on a Samsung phone — and think you might make
use of a stylus too — then the Galaxy Note 8 is the device to go for (at least until the Galaxy Note 9 turns up).

The Tegra Note 7 has a
stylus under its belt
too though, meaning if you are a note - taker or prefer the idea
of using a
stylus, you might choose the Tegra Note 7.

of junk... 800 × 600 on that screen size is pointless... needs a
stylus... sounds like a
used Kindle DX for half the price would be prefable for someone reading PDFs and a tablet for anyone reading comic books.
I
too see the advantages
of capacitive touch screens (support for multitouch, etc) and think it it the best touchscreen technology for everyday
use of the Adam, even if it limits how precise
stylus input can be.
Not only can you write and sketch with the S Pen, but you can also
use it as a mouse on the tablet, and, this tablet has support for air gestures from the S Pen
too, so the
stylus actually does add a lot
of features.
HTC's Flyer also has a
stylus that can be
used on the touch screen, in a feature known as HTC Scribe, which allows for writing to take place on the display for note taking and the editing
of pictures
too.
There's no third - party
stylus which will do exactly what the Pencil will, though you can
of course
use any Bluetooth keyboard with the iPad Pro and, eventually, I'd expect to see third - party versions that
use the three - pin Smart Connector port
too.
