I picked up these tasty (

strawberries at my local farmers market and after enjoying so many for breakfast decided I'd
use up the remaining batch for this recipe.
Used an

use more for an even fruitier drink, or consider
using both roasted and fresh
strawberries in this recipe) * 4 tablespoons
organic sugar, plus more to taste * 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract * pinch of fine or coarse sea salt * juice of 1 - 2 limes (or lemons)- I suggest trying it with the smaller amount before adding more * handful of fresh basil (I
used Thai basil from my garden) or mint * ice cubes: about 10, or to taste
I
used 6 cups of assorted
organic berries:
strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries!
I like to
use dark cooking chocolate for my chocolate covered
strawberries, making them vegan - friendly (my favourite is Green & Blacks 70 %
organic dark cooking chocolate).
I

Organic Love Crunch granola in dark chocolate & red berries Some defrosted
strawberries Toasted coconut flakes Green & Black's
organic milk chocolate with chopped almonds
* 1 - 1/2 cups loosely packed

You may also want to consider buying
organic strawberries because pesticides are usually
used in fruits that are grown conventionally.
