With Polaris Office, business executives can easily view and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents with an excellent option to view PDF files too but the lack of a physical
keyboard might make things a bit tricky at first for those who are
used to fast typing speeds on their BlackBerry
QWERTY keyboards.
Thanks to the XT9 predictive text that auto - completes words, messaging felt speedy, though it's definitely slower than
using a full
QWERTY keyboard.
The touch interface makes highlighting easy, but underlining or annotating is extremely difficult with your finger —
using the included stylus is better, but even it isn't great for underlining or note - taking — and I missed the Kindle's
QWERTY keyboard for taking notes.
The Palm Pixi's full
qwerty keyboard is tiny, but is awesome to
use, and I'm pretty sure RIM could have fit a
keyboard like that onto the Pearl if they wanted to.

Of course, the Sony Reader lacks the Kindle's
QWERTY keyboard — although at the moment that handy
keyboard won't be
used for much more than entering URLs into the basic Web browser.
