use a radiator cover that you could paint the same color as your trim.

Smoke detectors should be in place and working,
radiators and heaters should be
covered or otherwise protected, a first aid kit and fire extinguisher should be close at hand, and all standard childproofing techniques should be
used (
covered outlets, safety gates, door latches, etc.).
Apart from the lack of a fixed roof, the major external change from the Coupe was a new dummy
radiator grill and pivoted» eyelids» to
cover the head lamps when they are not in

cover the bare chassis again starting at the front with a more aggressive styling for the front bumper featuring large air intakes to feed air onto several
radiators, interior, brakes... etc... the lower fin on the front bumper will be electronically controlled into different positions regarding speed and road condition, a similar system will be
used on the custom side sills and lower rear diffuser... flexible parts will be in a low position for normal driving but can be raised when the condition of the street is bad or when you want to drive up a ramp or into an underground parking lot.

radiator options for water cooling, plus dampening
covers for the fan slots you don't
use.
I wonder if you could find a fancy looking
radiator cover (like Shelley at House of Smiths
used http://www.thehouseofsmiths.com/2011/12/diy-magnetic-organizational-board-from.html) and paint it white to fill in the whole mantel space?
I'd paint the vent the same as the wall and then maybe hang some type of scroll - y iron work... or maybe put expanded metal in there like what is
used for
radiator covers.
Pat.decorate suggests that you
use metal screening the same they
use in
radiator covers or decorative chicken wire.
I
used the screening you see on
radiator covers (found at Lowes and Home Depot) and faux finished it and the built - ins to give them an older look.
I was thinking either the perforated sheet metal that you
use for
radiator covers or the fabric that
covers speakers.
It you
used the above idea of making it look like an old
radiator cover.....
A half - inch piece of glass atop the
radiator cover gives it a finished look and makes it practical to
use as a bedside table.
