I did
use unsalted butter instead of palm shortening and it was perfect.
You can
use unsalted butter instead of the salted butter.
The only things I did differently were
using Unsalted Butter instead of Oil and Greek Yogurt instead of Regular Yogurt.
I used unsalted butter instead of margarine for better taste.

Great recipes aside, they won't be great if you
use artificial vanilla, margarine
instead of superb, pure,
unsalted butter and chlorinated flour (always
used unbleached).
If you substitute salted
butter for the
unsalted called for; if you
use margarine
instead of

use something weird
instead of eggs; if you
use an artificial sweetener
instead of sugar; if you decide to be healthy and
use whole wheat flour... please don't send me an email to let me know this is an awful recipe.
If you are
using unsalted butter, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt
instead of 1/2.
I
used rum emulsion
instead of bourbon, just because I don't have bourbon, but I do have rum emulsion; I also
used unsalted butter so added 1/2 tsp salt to the mix and I added 1 cup of toasted walnuts — because I just have to have walnuts in my banana bread.

butter in recipes, can I
use ghee or
unsalted butter instead??
