This is the sense of the
prologue as it is
used by the author of Job.
It is often suggested that John drew on the writings of Philo (an Alexandrian Jewish Philosopher, 25BC - AD50) to develop the concept of Logos
as used in the
Prologue.
After an intriguing
prologue that sets up the real reason for the space race — something crashed on the dark side of the moon [but they couldn't
use that
as a title because of the Pink Floyd album]-- Transformers: Dark of the Moon quickly devolves into an action movie with giant robots, explosions, gunfire, and some rude language from Sam Witwicky's [Shia LaBeouf] parents [played by the ever delightful Julie White and Kevin Dunn].

used the queasy mix of insect - like mechanics and organic organs to extend his life for centuries.
That said, while in no way begrudging John Huston's
prologue narration and John Hurt's standout rendering of the Horned King, I respect an old school Disney movie that
uses professional voiceover actors and not the boldface names of the moment to bring its characters to life, notably the great John Byner
as Gurgi, a Gollum - like troublemaker.
The
prologue is a visual mess of strobe lights and filter effects (A party montage is joylessly similar,
using various camera speeds), and when Carrie Anne is on the loose, Tonderai offers only cheap, anticlimactic startle moments (The most ridiculous one eyes a couple making out in a car
as Carrie Anne makes her way toward them).
Ground Zeroes will serve
as a
prologue for players to get into the story and get
used to the new open world style.

The idea is that it's called Talisman
Prologue because the full Talisman experience — playing alone without having to
use a rigged deck for a canned challenge — will be along later
as paid DLC.
