using sunflower seeds with the shell left
on, they are less popular than the shelled ones but cheaper and sometimes salted, it's time consuming to shell them so they tend to be eaten
as a leisurely
snack, a bit like pistachio nuts.
They're also easy to take with you and
use as a
snack when you're
on the go.
We
use hummus
on sandwiches, in lieu of a spread, for
snacking and my personal favorite —
as a salad topper instead of dressing.
