I don't like things awfully hot - I skipped the chipotle, cayenne and chile de arbol and
used chipotle powder to bring it up to a level I like, and added a small fresh New Mexico.
* To make Whole30, you can
use chipotle powder in place of peppers adobo sauce.
If you have trouble finding adobo sauce, you can
use chipotle powder (start with 1/4 teaspoon and add more as necessary) or just use this recipe for cashew cheese sauce.

It is a bit spicy for me, not sure if it is because I
used chipotle chili
powder or not.
In a small bowl,
use a fork to combine the softened butter, 1/2 of the
chipotle pepper (or chili
powder), orange zest, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper and half of the garlic.

chipotle sauce, didn't have apple cider vinegar so
used mirin, white vinegar and a sprinkle of lemon juice, for sugar I
used muscovado, normal brown sugar and maple syrup, for liquid smoke I

use often enough but don't typically grab for first — curry
powder, white pepper, allspice,
chipotle powder, etc..
I didn't have adobo sauce, but just
used chipotle flavored tomato sauce and added some chili
powder and cumin.
Season with salt, paprika, and
chipotle powder (if
using).
Add to the blender: the ancho chile
powder (if
using), the
chipotle pepper, the ground cinnamon, the ground hazelnuts, ground spices and sesame seeds, and 2 cups of the chicken broth.
Then, sprinkle the butternut squash with 1/4 teaspoon
chipotle powder (or

First I made a simple grilling sauce
using butter,
chipotle paste, red wine, and garlic
powder and simply basted a pork chop while grilling it.
