For the «dried fruit» we were out of the standard raisins or craisins, so I improvised and
used chopped candied ginger.

Just a tip: It was easier to
chop up the
candy after they were in the freezer overnight... from experience
using a chopper is the easiest and least messy way, but if they are room temp, you can say MESS!
Sprinkle the
chopped pistachios over the top, along with the
candied orange slices if
using.
The
candies I
used are Easter - themed M&M s, which are gluten free in the United States, miniature marshmallows (Campfire and Kraft brands are gluten free in the United States) and Strawberry Fields Tic - Tacs, carefully
chopped in half (also, a U.S. safe
candy).
