In this recipe
we used both dried lavender (because it's pretty) and lavender essential oils!
I used dried lavender in lieu of the bay leaf and orange zest and it was wonderful.
I use the dried lavender in my home made laundry detergent as well as the essential oil added to my wool balls in my dryer.
