restrictions coming from the publishers - not Microsoft.
The two hot button topics for the Xbox One since reveal have been the requirement for an internet check every 24 hours and

Used games will apparently function as they do on the 360 and there will be no
restrictions on giving
games to friends.
Those
games are hard to find today in the
used market for reasonable prices and Capcom is unable to re-release the previous two Legends titles on any of the modern download services thanks to licensing
restrictions (and the company was unwilling to spend the money on localizing the PlayStation Portable re-release from Japan that was released a few years ago), so it's unlikely that anyone unfamiliar with Legends will jump in now without catching up on things.
The creation of alternate accounts will be handled on a case by case basis, and we reserve the right to remove accounts

game or the Service including the official Survived By forums.
Luckily tools for
game creation are easy to find and most are free to try or
use indefinitely (with some

The second big mistake Microsoft could be making is the
restriction of
used games.
Microsoft, having announced a whole heap of
restrictions surrounding the
use of
used video
games, were left feeling a little red in the face after Sony announced their
restriction - free policy live on stage.
This is due to security
restrictions that Microsoft has about networked play, and with the way our
game works and the
game engine we
use, they won't allow cross-play.

used games, news that was greeted by whoops and rousing applause by the crowd at the company's E3 2013 press conference Monday.
The first thing you should do is actually turn on the parental controls, which will allow you to then set up
restrictions for
games and apps, as well as impose time limits on system

game and application blocking, and curfews, Family Safety adds robust activity monitoring and reporting, time limits, web filtering, Windows Store app
restrictions (Windows 8.1 only), and the ability to attend to special requests, such as if the restricted user wants to
use the computer beyond curfew, or access an app that is blocked.
Due to regulation
restrictions, U.S. law doesn't allow gaming portals that
use real money, but American residents can still play our
games with test credits.
