Medjool dates are the best
as they're much sweeter and stickier so make cooking a lot easier — these are what I
use in all my
recipes and you may find if you
use normal dates that the
recipe doesn't work
as well.

Hi there, I wonder if you could suggest an alternative to bananas for
use in your smoothie
recipes as I am allergic to them so I am missing out on trying these
recipes.
I would say just half the
recipe and
use half a mango and half an avocado,
as it won't keep that well
in the fridge for more than 24 hours.
They act
as a sort of glueing agent that sticks all the other ingredients together, that's why it's so widely
used in raw cracker
recipes.

as I find it doesn't spike my blood sugar so much but
in terms of making a difference to the

using agave would be absolutely fine!
I had some milled flaxseeds
in so I have been
