So
I used oats and grounded them in a food processed to make my own oat flour as a substitute for the almond flour in the recipe.
I made these and made several changes -
used oats, subbed almonds and pine nuts for the pecans and pistachios, used a cherry / raisin blend, chunky peanut butter, and unsweetened applesauce in place of the oil.
I still
used the oats and wheat germ, and I think that allowed the texture to still be moist and not as dry as many protein powder baked goods.
It's worth investing in the Tahini to give them a lovely flavour and
I used oats to bind it together.
I used oats instead of breadcrumbs in my Turkey Lentil Meatloaf Muffin recipe and they were delicious!
I use it for a breakfast cereal almost daily... and I use it for waffles and pancakes for breakfast too... I also bake with it... I have
used oats from GF Harvest for several years now and have not had any problems...

you used oats and almond flour — that will be so helpful because some people have had problems finding gluten - free breadcrumbs.

I tried this recipe today and I only
used oats (didn't have buckwheat so I doubled the oats) and cut the oil and maple syrup in half.
I used oats and some shredded coconut because I didn't want my cake to be too nutty since the cream is made of nuts too, but if you want, you can use almonds, walnuts or any other nuts you like.
For the crust,
I used oats and almond slices.

Mine's also totally gluten free as most of these types of recipes
use oats, so I've moved to brown rice flour to make it easier for you all.

:) I'm thinking that
using oats in place of all of the oat bran might not be a good idea - but what you could try is using some homemade oat flour, which would give you more of the texture of oat bran (and which can be used in all sorts of baked goods).
You can even
use oats to make real, actual cobbler if you want as well.

use all oats - blended to a powder, for the flour!

You know, the fitness people who will try just about anything

30g gluten - free oat flour (or almonds if you don't want to
use oats!)
Cheryl — Most granola recipes don't require nuts to work, you can just
use oats and coconut, plus dried fruit and seeds, if they're not an issue.
It does use banana as the sweetener, so you can taste that, and it also
uses oats and cinnamon and raisins in it.

Personally I love using gluten - free oats in recipes; they are a familiar ingredient, when compared to the potato starch and xanthan gum, and it's so much easier to develop a recipe
using oats.

I have been making different versions of muffins

I no longer have malted wheat flakes, so
I use oats, and also add a Tbsp of malted barley flour.
