You may be able to justify those because they only happen a few times per year, but check to see if your favorite store bought
cookies are made with partially hydrogenated cooking oils, chances are they are including Chips Ahoy and Keebler, although some brands like
Oreos now
use «high oleic» oils instead so they can provide shelf - stable
cookies at a reasonable cost.

I
used crushed up
Oreo cookies for the base or I've
used vanilla wafer
cookies as well depending who I'm making them for.
If you don't have Golden
Oreos you can
use any sandwich
cookie with the same ingredients, or
use Nilla Wafers or graham crackers with 5 tablespoons of butter instead of 6.
I
used milk chocolate with white chocolate and dark chocolate drizzle for the fun and childhood - reminiscent
Oreo truffles, and dark chocolate for the super rich
cookie dough truffles, but feel free to
use whichever kind of chocolate you prefer and mix it up however you want!

Oreos in general, you probably won't feel the same way, but there is a variation of the recipe you can
use, below.

used a regular graham cracker crust for my cheesecake bars — you can
use Oreo as per Sally's original recipe, but I had graham crackers on hand and don't usually buy store - bought

Today I made the crust

Oreos, Mint
Oreos, Lemon
Oreos or any another type of sandwich
cookie of your choosing.
Use the entire
Oreo cookie.
For this recipe, I
used candy cane chocolate sandwich
cookies, you can
use Oreos, JoeJoes from Trader Joe's, or leftover Thin Mint
cookies that you've been hiding in the freezer!
To substitute, you could
use gluten - free
cookies instead of
Oreos and gluten - free pretzels, respectively.
If you don't like
oreo cookie crust feel free to
use other type of
cookies or if you don't mind baking you can make a flourless chocolate cake instead.
