I've been
using pea protein powder for a few years, but I want to note that I used Growing Naturals Pea Protein in these bars; the company was kind enough to send me samples of their protein powders and I am loving them!
Here, we have gathered some of our favorite recipes
using pea protein powder to add a bit of protein «power» for healthy nourishment.

used liquid stevia for sweetener, and added in a little
pea protein powder as well for kicks.

The texture is much finer than any other
pea protein I've
used, and I also love that it is raw (which is not the case for several other
pea protein powders).
I
use 1/2 cup of the
pea protein powder in these bars, but if you want to make an even higher
protein bar, simply omit the 1/2 cup oats and add another 1/2 cup of
pea protein.
I also really like most of the plant
protein sources they
use (
pea protein, amaranth
powder, chia
powder, flax
powder).
Where you'll see it: Vegan
protein powders made from
pea protein, chia and hemp
protein will continue to be launched by health - food companies to be
used in smoothies, baking, «proats» (
protein - rich oatmeal) and more.

used pea protein for the first time the other day and it absorbs WAY more liquid than brown rice
protein powder... so I'd be careful not to add too much.
Whey, casein and egg
protein powders don't work for some reason, they turn really gooey and liquidy and sticky Although, you can try
using organic soy
protein powder,

If I'm baking or cooking with
protein powder, I always
use the
pea variety.

used to.

use rice

pea protein powder if the color is going to be an insurmountable issue, but the hemp
powder has the most bang for the buck.
Enter
pea protein, a plant - based powerhouse ingredient that's
used in milks, yogurts, snack bars, faux meats, veggie burgers, and
protein powder.
Ripple, the
pea protein milk, contains 8 grams of
protein per cup, so I'll
use it when I want to bump up my
protein intake without having to add a

Using protein - rich plain Greek yogurt or kefir means you can skip the

If you've never
used protein powder before, we recommend starting with an organic, unflavored
pea protein.
Use a high quality
protein powder like hydrolyzed beef, grass fed whey, or organic
pea protein to sneak in some extra
protein if you're having a hard time eating that much from whole food sources.
Since I am allergic to legumes, I can't
use any
protein powder that has soy,
pea protein, or nuts.

pea protein powder, it's delicious.
This took some getting
used to for me as I really love the
powder I have been
using for years but I wanted to switch to a
pea protein... I mix it with the a scoop of the phytogreens, almond milk unsweetened, cinnamon, flaxseed, fresh ginger, and a half a pear... YUM!
