I used pure olive oil in just about everything I cook!
Have been convinced for years that what we put on our skin affects our health and so was my grandmother — she had fabulous skin
using pure olive oil (as coconut oil wasn't freely available back then).
I prefer to get around this problem by
using pure olive oil, then whisking in some extra-virgin gently at the end for flavor.

What a mess this recipe was... * sigh * I have enjoyed
oil - poaching other things like Salmon and Halibut, and recently discovered the
pure joy of Duck Confit... but this was just a disgusting mess of oily chicken and a poor
use of good quality
olive oil.
To make the dressing just stir together your mayonnaise (I
use the kind made with
olive oil), apple cider vinegar, mustard,
pure maple syrup, and salt.

use a light coating of

Unrefined means that the
oil hasn't been exposed to high temperatures or chemical solvents, which are typical processing methods
used with refined oils like canola, vegetable, and
pure / regular
olive oil (not extra-virgin).
I've simplified my life by
using products made of natural materials like organic
olive oil, sesame
oil, and
pure shea butter.
Maty's
uses oils in their
pure, natural state (like coconut, jojoba, and
olive oil) and ingredients like chamomile and nutmeg (instead of melatonin), which both have calming effects.
I reserve my
pure extra virgin
olive oil for topping things like this salad, and
use tallow, butter and lard to cook / fry with since they're more cost effective.
If just
olive oil is
used, you'll have a
pure castile soap (named after that region in Spain) which is very moisturizing but can take longer to cure.
A
pure olive oil soap makes a moisturizing soap but it doesn't lather well, so many soap makers find that
using a blend of different oils allows them to customize the properties of the soap better.
If you don't like a coconut flavor and prefer a more traditional «mayo taste» you can
use pure (not extra virgin)
olive oil.

using «kiss my face
pure olive oil soap» or Dr Bronners in bar or liquid form the glycerin amounts in these wouldn't be in the high amounts that prevent the remineralization of teeth.

pure shampoo that doesent have any chemicals in it, just most of what you have in your natural shampoo recipe plus tea and
olive oil extracts... can I still
use it?
A lot of people prefer
using a
pure Castile soap, made with only
olive oil, for face and body.
Pork Soap is crafted by hand with the same
olive oil they
use to create Pork Clouds, making it a
pure Castile soap.
As I explained in my first recipe, rather than make a liquid soap
using both
olive oil and coconut
oil together in the same soap, as I would with a bar soap, I decided to make a
pure liquid castile soap with only
olive oil and a separate liquid coconut
oil soap instead.
I've found you can in fact
use pure coconut
oil, no
olive oil needed at all, as long as you start mixing really slowly, in very short little bursts of about 1 second each, giving it time to settle before the next one.
As a
pure source of fat,
olive oil is naturally carb - free, making it ideal for
using as a base for keto salad dressings and low - temperature cooking.
