I didn't want to bother with chopping up almonds so
I used raw sliced almonds (about 1/4 cup), spread them evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and cooked them as instructed.

I've been enjoying both the Four Sigma Foods Chaga and Reishi «instant mushroom beverages», just prepared with hot water as a tea as I find the flavour really pleasant (especially with a
slice of fresh ginger), but you can blend the powders into smoothies and
use them in baking, cooking and
raw recipes.
I added a handful (maybe 10 small) of thinly
sliced raw brussels sprouts to the kale before tossing with the dressing, and
used 2 garlic cloves in the dressing.

use Lacinato / Tuscan kale
raw in salads, especially after Melissa Clark published a recipe for a Tuscan kale slaw in The New York Times which called for very thin ribbons of thinly
sliced leaves.
Then it occurred to me to
use raw yellow squash,
sliced into paper - thin
slices.
Today, I
used dried coconut flakes,
sliced raw almonds, oats, and sesame seeds as the base, with cinnamon and cardamom for spice, and a mixture of honey, coconut oil, and vanilla extract to coat.

To make the the mojo picon sauce add a 1/2 inch thick
slice of baguette bread and 2 cloves of garlic to a baking tray and into a pre-heated oven, bake and broil option 210C - 410F for 15 minutes, after they have slightly cooled add the toasted bread and roasted garlics to a tall plastic cylinder or food processor, also add 1 clove of
raw garlic, 2 jarred roasted red bell peppers, 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of dried cumin, 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons of water, 1/4 cup of extra virgin Spanish olive oil and season everything with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper,

There are two main kinds of Spanish chorizo (at least from what I saw): thick one (
sliced finely, can be
used for example in sandwiches) and a thin one (looking like a «standard» sausage, which can be eaten
raw or cooked.
It's great for
slicing tasks that require great precision... hence its
uses in the art form of
raw fish dishes!
Roast them in the oven,
use a mandoline to

To make this crunchy
raw treat, all you need to do is
slice the apples thinly (I
used the food processor - total time saver), flavor them up with lemon and spices, and then place them in the dehydrator.
L — Corn tortilla chicken quesadillas (
using leftover chicken from Tuesday's dinner) made with
raw cheese, spinach and thinly
sliced peppers, fried on both sides in lard or olive oil along with leftover veggie soup from Sunday's dinner.
Whether you
use them
raw, boiled or from a can,
sliced water chestnuts work well in soups and any type of salad, including egg, tuna or chicken salad.
