Use unsweetened desiccated coconut flakes for the cake, if
you use sweet ones, the cake will be too sweet.

I did today, which was so awesome!!!! My blender was broken and sent back to repair, so i had to do everything manually, from smashing the

one was hard, so finally its more like bits...), and left out for the agave syrup (was so

used orange

use almost the full amount of

i had the amount of dates you
used, but when i made these two recipes, the date flavor was very overpowering and i could barely taste any strong brownie - like flavors or even the
sweet potato (for this
one!).
Hi Kate, this is
one of the pricier recipes becuase of the dates, you could try
using normal dates, but I just find medjool's are extra sumptuously
sweet and juicy so just work best in the recipe.
I agree the two bananas make it very
sweet so I
used only
one banana and half the dates.
Yes I just
use regular orange
ones, I don't think the white / purple
ones would be
sweet enough, but the orange
ones work so perfectly!
Just tried this
one — quite
sweet for my taste and even if I «m a cinamon lover — next time I «ll
use less I added a litte Macca and instead of the raspberries I
used some Aroniajuice.
That flavor is much less noticeable in the chocolate
one, even my mom (who hates

I
used up all the
ones I'd been hoarding through winter, but I finally tracked down
sweet potato, butternut squash, and pumpkin and have been
using them in baked goods and oatmeal (because he doesn't like potatoes or squash on their own).
