This time I've added a little turmeric, and
used veggie stock instead of milk to mash the potatoes with.
The changes I've made:
used veggie stock, added celery, extra garlic, and about 1 Tsp Cumin.
The sauce was full of umami goodness, somehow meaty even though I'd
used veggie stock.
Also,
I used veggie stock instead of wine and it was great.
I change mine by swapping the potatoes with sweet potatoes... I also added an onion and
use veggie stock when it gets too dry and starts sticking to the pan.
French onion soup is normally based on a beef consomme, but this version
uses veggie stock instead.
The depth of flavour in this recipe was amazing, even
using veggie stock!
and so easy to make vegetarian by
using veggie stock instead so my boyfriend can eat it too!
Even though this bread soup is meatless (if
you use veggie stock), it is thick and filling.
To make this better I would definitely add tomatoes, more red pepper, and
use some veggie stock in addition to the starchy water from the bean soak.
The reason these are called vegetarian black beans is because
she uses veggie stock not chicken stock.

use is into a
stock pot with other

And strangely enough I was JUST thinking last night while peeling carrots for a slice «n» roast, «I wonder if these peelings could be crisped up in the oven and
used for something, rather than simply putting them in the compost or
using them to make
veggie stock».
It was amazing although I
used water as no
veggie stock when I looked in the freezer.
I like to mention that you have to
use quite some liquid in the form of
veggie stock.

veggie stock 1 can of full fat coconut milk 2 TBL green curry paste, i've been
using this brand and it's spicy AF, i like this brand too.

veggie stock, i boiled about 3/4 of a beef bouillon, black pepper and cornstarch and
used that as my

Then I ate it all up and had no pictures made for the blog post... so I had to make it again... Second time I
used my homemade roasted
veggie stock made after a fool proof recipe DKM once posted on her blog.
I do not recommend
using boxed or canned
veggie stock for this recipe.
Using corn
stock made by simmering cobs in organic un-salted
veggie stock, adding to desired consistency worked better.
Made it earlier this week following recipe except
using homemade
veggie stock instead of water and no saffron.

Whilst peeling potatoes for the mash I had the the onion and garlic «sauteeing» to the point where they ended up burning so had to basically forget toasting the breadcrumbs chuck in
veggie stock (had no wine or capers or thyme or shallots - hence
using onion) some salt pepper and oregano as that's another commonly
used in Italian herb.
I made this
using 1 can of light coconut milk and 1/4 cup
veggie stock so I didn't need to thicken with the cornstartch but do add the lime juice anyway.
I didn't have miso so added Worcestershire sauce and did
use chicken
stock instead of
veggie broth.
