You might
use colored
card stock, but another option is to print the arrow
cards onto
white card stock and have students lightly color the
cards with an agreed - on color scheme,
using colored pencils or crayons.

You can print them out on nicely textured paper (this Classic
White Laid
Card Stock # 100 is my favorite and what we
used for our Save the Dates, but any nicer paper you have lying around will work well, too), cut them out, and fold them into little greeting
cards.
Adhere your leaves onto individual pieces of
white or cream
card stock using your choice of adhesive.
To create this look I
used inexpensive black frames, lined them with off
white card stock paper: inserted a 5 cm wide black self adhesive paper at the centre; glued a dried spring of eucalyptus on top; and assembled the frame;
To top the look off, I created faux chalkboard labels
using black vinyl,
card stock, jute and
white paint.
