Smash has one of the most fun
uses of amiibo so far — your amiibo appears in game as an AI that you can influence by fighting against them and alongside them.
Though it's probably one of the best
uses of Amiibo so far, it's somewhat of a shame the costumes only appear in the Super Mario Bros. setting, since playing as Mega Man in Super Mario World would be indescribably amazing.

So, instead
of Happy Home Designer becoming the next game in the series, it's a spin off, and now the cards that were exclusive to it and
Amiibo Festival are about to be able to be
used in New Leaf who's also seeing a price drop.
Of course, a New 3DS system or the NFC
amiibo reader will required to
use the figure, but doing
so will add even more content to a jam - packed game collection.
So that's another way that we've linked
Amiibo Festival and Happy Home Designer through the
use of Amiibo cards.
- Camelot wanted players to «raise» their

amiibo having a connection to online play - devs didn't want the GamePad to draw the player's attention away from the TV,
so they
used it for a reverse court view - Nintendo helped bring this feature together - a demo was made in about 3 - 4 months in order to get some feedback - this was Camelot's first HD title - the giant characters (with the Mega Battles) were implemented as some sort
of test for HD - the devs wanted the game to be as accessible as possible - that's why Giant Goombas, Jump Shots and Chance Shots can be disabled - Nintendo suggested additions such as the Jump Shots - Mega Battles were Camelot's idea, not Nintendo's - the developers were concerned about how they would work, and what impact they would have on basic actions
Another interesting addition is the ability to import the previous version
of the game's data up into The Legend
of Zelda: Twilight Prince HD, and this too appears to
use the
Amiibo to do
so.
Each
of these
amiibo can only be
used once per day
so as to not unbalance the game too much — it'd be silly if you were effectively invincible because you paid for a toy, wouldn't it?
From Luigi to Peach, Wario to Kirby, Megaman and Pacman and even the Pokemon get an appearance as a wearable costume
so the Pikachu and Charizard
amiibo will finally have another
use outside
of Super Smash Bros!
R.O.B. is one
of the oldest (and most classic) Nintendo characters,
so even if you don't plan to
use this
Amiibo in any actual Wii U or 3DS games, it's a pretty nice little figure to have as a trinket in tribute to your Nintendo heritage.

The
amiibo card is not required to unlock the character
so it's still possible to
use Shadow Mewtwo even without purchasing a first print run copy
of the game.
The
amiibo appear to unlock new abilities for Kirby to
use, but whether these are exclusive or not is yet to be seen — the Boxboy ability looks like it might be a reskin
of the Bomb ability
so it's entirely possible they're just aesthetic differences.
If you're an avid collector
of amiibo, you probably know how to scan and
use them
so we'll just skip right ahead.
You can go right into the Wii U's system settings and completely reset any
of your
Amiibo figures at any time, and on top
of that, each figure can only store data from one game at a time,
so using it with a different title automatically wipes the data from the figure anyway.
Of course, the Switch still has
amiibo functionality,
so all those figures and cards released
so far could still find a
use on the system, along with some new ones.
