as my face and body moisturizer, my hair mask, the base
of lots
of my facemasks, my after sun and my makeup remover — so it's pretty all purpose!
I made these today but had to substitute a few ingredients
as I didn't have everything — I
used dried prunes instead
of dates, chopped almonds and hazelnuts instead
of the sunflower seeds and vegetable
oil instead
of coconut oil.

use a pea size
of coconut oil for your face
as it spreads pretty far and you don't want your face to end up too oily.
Every night I
use a small amount
of coconut oil on my face

as oats, nuts,
coconut oil and maple syrup.

of coconut oil for about 5 pounds... I don't really think anyone thinks that
using coconut oil as a make up remover is «weird» anyway...
I love
using coconut oil as a body moisturiser but there are loads
of great natural beauty brands on My Favourite Products blog post which may also do body moisturisers.
A giant, 500 ml, pot
of coconut oil costs between # 10 - 15 and lasts about two months if you
use it
as much
as I do, so it's so much cheaper than buying expensive moisturizers etc..
I always just
use coconut oil so I wouldn't know
of any other sadly but I
use lots
of Neals Yard products and love them so I'm sure the moisturiser would be just
as good x
In the bowl
of an electric mixer (this can be done all by hand if you
use the
oil as opposed to butter which beats together with the sugar better in a mixer), beat
coconut oil and sugar until well combined.

coconut oil is so easy to sub 1:1 and has so many good bits for you Also, I had no maple syrup on hand so just
used the same amount in honey although next time will
use maple
as I love the flavour
of maple in muffins and cakes.
I have been
using coconut oil as a moisturizer for quite a while, so decided to make some
of your chocolate mint body butter this morning.
I added in 1 Tbsp
of cocoa powder with the dry ingredients to make this more chocolatey and
used canola
oil instead
of coconut oil, then when I made it I put the mixture into muffin cups and pressed down
as hard
as I could with a spoon.
I can't wait to try this, esp

coconut oil and / or bacon grease
as well — any combination
of these 3 fats works great, and you can reuse the fat — just strain it after you make the carnitas and store it in the fridge.

of tropical countries have also
used coconut oil as a hair conditioner and moisturizer.
I sincerely wish society
as a whole would go back to
using coconut oil in baked goods instead
of modern industrial oils — it would make a tremendous difference!

use unrefined
coconut oil as a replacement for butter and
oil in all my recipes.
Hm, you can leave it out all together, and just try to
use as little liquid
as possible for the rest
of the filling so it stays thick (because that is the purpose
of the
coconut oil).
