There is a two - pack of Alm and Celica that unlocks a new dungeon to explore and allows one character to call the other into battle, but the game also
uses other amiibos to conjure up monsters to aid in battle, or if you use a Fire Emblem SSB amiibo, like, say, Roy or Marth, you can call them into battle for a set number of turns.

Other amiibo can be
used with the game as well, each providing different boots and more.
It's not clear yet what the Solaire
amiibo will do when
used with Dark Souls: Remastered (or
other Switch software) but it would certainly be the best way to trigger the «Praise the sun!»

Amiibo support is enabled with this game, and this was actually my first time
using my Kirby
Amiibo for anything
other than a decorative shelf piece.

amiibo cards - scan them and they will enter the house or scene - cards also give requests from characters before you even meet them in the game - some characters are exclusive to the cards - put data back on the card and give that information to the friend
In addition, many
other amiibo will also be compatible with Super Mario Maker through the

There are not any
other game modes or extras found within the game, but it does allow the
use of a special Detective Pikachu
amiibo.
amiibo figures, cards and
other accessories bought in nearly $ 500 million in revenue during fiscal 2015 and it's clear that there is an opportunity for this to become a $ 1 billion a year segment if they can drive additional demand for figures and cards
using the methods above.
But I guess the value of the
Amiibo is more in the statue itself, and the NFC reader can be
used with
other games.
Oh and if you're wondering about why I have two Mario Maker
amiibo, one is to
use, the
other is preservation.
I think
amiibo has great promise if it's
used well for
other future Nintendo games.
Other Fire Emblem
Amiibo can also be
used in Fire Emblem Echoes.
Metroid was my first Nintendo game ever since I had the NES, it's great to know that Metroid II has a new remake and compatible with some
amiibo too, the only thing that I thought (and I know some
other gamers would agree with me) it was going to be with the ZeroSuit Samus
amiibo is that you can
use the ZeroSuit after you beat the game, I mean listening to the game's music is good and all but playing the game with the ZeroSuit is GREATER, but oh well, at least I can now have Another Great Metroid Game...
In addition to spending Halos, whenever you're paying Rodin a visit over at the Gates of Hell, you can actually
use amiibo to unlock the costumes and we're not just talking about
using a Link

amiibo for Bounty Hunter outfit and etc,) but

used as well, to unlock every purchasable costume and I mean every purchasable costume!

Well there are multiple
uses for an
amiibo other than
using it for super smash.
I don't know why this game even exists honestly
other than just to
use the symbols on the
amiibo cards.
But if you're really invested in training your
Amiibos then you will reap the rewards and you can
use them to play online when you feel they are ready to battle
other players around the world.
Amiibo use is nested in the magic menu under powers, and you have to cast it the way you would any
other power before tapping the
Amiibo to the NFC reader.
Currently, the only title to make full
use of
Amiibo is Super Smash Bros for Wii U. Instead of allowing players to play as their
Amiibo, it acts as it's own digital entity that can be trained, leveled up, and pit against
other Amiibo.
Animal Crossing:
amiibo Festival also includes some
other minigames for you to play
using Animal Crossing
amiibo cards.
The game will allow players to not only design the interior of a villager's home, but also the exterior, including their garden;
amiibo cards can be
used to invite
other villagers and to bring them into the game to design their house to their specification.
These require the
use of
Amiibo cards for seemingly no reason
other than to sell
Amiibo cards.
The Shovel Knight
amiibo can be
used in the Wii U version of the game to unlock an exclusive co-operative mode not available on
other systems.
All
other amiibo, including non-Pokémon figures, will be
used to unlock «in - game items,» though just what those items are remains to be announced.
The Link and Toon Link
amiibo will unlock an exclusive Spinner weapon for Link to
use (an item from Twilight Princess), while
other amiibo will give you random in - game items.
Weird how it only unlocks if you
use it whilst playing and not in the
Amiibo hut where all the
other ones unlock.
While Nintendo's
use of
amiibo in Super Smash Bros. is far from a silly gimmick, the company still hasn't announced their plans for integrating the technology into
other franchises.
Since
amiibo in Smash Bros are more than just game - generated AI opponents «they could also be
used for a variety of
other purposes.
This is definitely a way to add a Nintendo edge to the world of Skyrim, though it's not clear whether or not you'll be able to
use Amiibo other than Link and bring even more different Nintendo character items into the game.
Other Fire Emblem
amiibo will serve the same purpose in battle, and it sounds like non-Fire Emblem
amiibo can be
used to summon allied monsters.
Other amiibo can also be
used for summons, but rather than bringing in unique units they'll bring in different monsters that will fight alongside you for a single turn — no Captain Falcon or Pikachu team - ups, I'm afraid.
