I was pissed at first as well but after research, talking to others outside of Sigg, and then the CEO I believe they are doing a great job and I will keep
using my Sigg bottles.
I already cloth diaper, so I think I will start using family cloth for me (for # 1) and stop buying those evil plastic bottles of water and start
using my siggs again.
It was hard for me to decide, because I already Diva, cloth at home (daycare won't take cloth),
use Sigg, kid gets sigg or a bpa - free sippy, we use our take and toss over and over and over again, bring our own bags, etc etc..
I'll give up disposable water bottles and
use my Sigg all the time.
I have a SIGG water bottle in a discontinued polka dot pattern and my daughter
uses the SIGG Wild Friends 0.3 Liter Bottle.

I limit my consumption as much as I can, always
using cloth bags for shopping,
Sigg water bottles instead of disposable, and just try to limit my total consumption.
We
use cloth diapers and wipes already,

but not just at the market, other stores too # 2 - We just made the switch to
sigg bottles for the entire family # 3 = cloth napkins now
use them about 60 % # 4 — I'd love to try to replace the papertowels too!

use reusable shopping bags.
I
used to have a
Sigg, but I dented it, and then it did this weird corroding thing that struck me as possibly not very healthy.

use your tap water (if it's safe and doesn't taste like bleach) and
use reusable bottles like
SIGG or reuse your old water bottles.
Before I invested in two
Sigg Mr. Sharky's (pictured below), I
used a good ole Honest Tea bottle.
The fact that there has never been any test that showed BPA leaching from
SIGG bottles means that those of us who have
used them extensively, even with our children — I was an «early adopter» of metal bottles and favoured
SIGGs over other brands almost exclusively — don't have to panic that we've had dangerous exposures.
