I made a delicious lactofermented fire cider kimchi
using the veges remaining after straining out fire cider.

I changed a few things: I
used 1/2 cup heavy cream instead of half and half, and I
used 1-1/4 cup
vege stock (reconstituted from cubes) instead of 2 cups that the recipe called for.
Dr. Oetker asked me if I would like to make one of their recipes
using a super useful ingredient, (especially if you are vegetarian) called
Vege - Gel.
Anyone have a recipe
using raw potato starch that can be easily incorporated into a primal / paleo diet (meat, eggs,
veges, occasional fruti)?
Canned chickpeas are often
used in salads or hummus, but Grace Parisi roasts them here with eggplant, prewashed spinach and onion to make a great
vege.
I
used this to
use up many varied
veges in my fridge.
Can this be grounded
using a blender and
used as a grounded
vege meat substitute?
Also I will be
using coconut oil instead of
vege shortening for the frosting.
Changes I made: sauteed in olive oil, deglazed with red wine,
vege broth instead of H2o, in addition to recipe spices I added: bay leaves, oregano, coriander powder, celery salt, skipped beginning of step 4 and
used flour plus cornstarch / warm h2o as thickener.

use as a bun...
Used 2 full eggs, 2 whites,
vege flavored cream cheese, baking powder and some garlic and onion powder.
I only made a small pasta bake and plan to
use the rest of the sauce on fresh
veges.

I would recommend making your own baby food to anyone... if you don't have something to puree the fruit /
vege simply
use a grater... works just the same for things like apple, pears and even sweet patatoes after they are boiled.
It's easy to adjust the handle for us or for the kids to push their baby brother, it can be
used on the beach, it's easy to collapse and put in the boot, the underneath area is perfect for a couple of bags of groceries or
veges if we walk to the shops.

I went vegan 2 years ago after being vegetarian for almost 20 years, at the same time I cut right down on my
use of olive oil and other concentrated
vege fats after reading Dr Essenden's book about avoiding heart attacks.
but my question is, I have asthma and have been on the paleo diet for a month now for weight lost purposes.All was good and I have managed to loose about 2 kg in the month on paleo diet.I was very strict with only
veges as my source for carbs at about 50g with no starches at all.As I am Asian, this was a burden for me as I eat rice alot!I found that although I feel good on this diet, ie less snoring, more alert n energy no more ringing in the ears at nite, BUT I was
using my ventolin inhaler more frequently on this diet than previously.I tend to feel difficulty in breathing after eating n need to
use my ventolin inhaler more.Does this relates to what u said regarding mucus production and the need to eat safe starches?Could this be the reason for me?Any help would be appreciated!
